Terms of Service
What you agree to when you use ENTREVERSO — as a donor, a recipient, or a partner. Written to be read, not to be ignored.
Version 1.0. Last updated: September 7, 2026. Material changes will be posted here with the updated date.
1 · Who we are
The company
ENTREVERSO™ PBC (“EV,” “we,” “us”) is a South Carolina Public Benefit Corporation. Our mission is to build infrastructure that connects resources to people who need them — with dignity, transparency, and accountability.
2 · What you agree to
Using the platform
By using entreverso.org or any service we operate, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the platform. We may update these terms — the date at the top tells you when. Continued use after a change means you accept the update.
You must be 18 or older to use this platform directly. Minors are served through school and institutional channels, never through direct individual accounts.
3 · How donations work
Giving and receiving
When you donate through ENTREVERSO, your contribution goes to a verified recipient in the form of a gift card. EV briefly holds donated funds in transit before they are disbursed. Donations are not tax-deductible — EV is a for-profit public benefit corporation, not a 501(c)(3).
Gift cards are issued through a third-party provider. EV delivers the claim link via SMS to the recipient's verified phone number. The gift card provider never receives the recipient's phone number.
Donations are final. We do not offer refunds on completed donations. If a gift card goes unclaimed after its expiration period, the funds are returned to the EV operating pool and redeployed to future recipients.
4 · Recipient terms
Receiving support
To receive a gift card, you must verify your phone number. You will receive one SMS containing a claim link. By providing your phone number, you consent to receive this message.
Your phone number is encrypted at rest, purged after 30 days by default (or 12 months if you opt in), and is never shared with the gift card provider. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
You may opt out of future messages at any time by replying STOP to any text from us.
5 · Partner terms
IP subscriptions
Partners subscribe to ENTREVERSO's Impact Partnership at published tier rates. Subscriptions are processed through Stripe. Your subscription is a business expense, not a charitable donation.
Cancellation is available at any time — no penalty, no long-term contract, no dark-pattern retention. Your subscription ends at the close of the current billing period.
Referral partners and scouts earn commissions as described in your onboarding agreement. Commission rates and structures are disclosed at signup and may be updated with notice.
6 · Communications
SMS and email
By providing your phone number, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages from ENTREVERSO related to your use of the platform (verification codes, gift card claim links, claim confirmations). We do not send marketing messages via SMS.
You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP. You can opt out of email by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting hello@entreverso.org.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your activity. For help, reply HELP or contact hello@entreverso.org.
7 · Your data
Privacy and data handling
Our Privacy Policy describes what we collect, how we use it, and what we never do with it. These terms incorporate the Privacy Policy by reference.
The short version: we collect as little as possible (phone number + ZIP code for recipients; standard account information for partners), we never sell or share personal data, and we encrypt sensitive data at rest.
Privacy Policy8 · Intellectual property
Our content, your content
ENTREVERSO, the EV mark, and all platform content are owned by EV PBC. You may not use our trademarks without written permission.
You retain ownership of any content you submit to the platform (partner logos, profile information). By submitting content, you grant EV a limited license to display it in connection with the service.
9 · Limitations
What we don't guarantee
The platform is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep it running and accurate, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or specific outcomes from donations or partnerships.
To the extent permitted by law, EV's liability for any claim related to the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100, whichever is greater.
10 · Disputes
If something goes wrong
These terms are governed by the laws of South Carolina. If we have a dispute, we'll try to resolve it by talking first — email hello@entreverso.org. If that doesn't work, disputes will be resolved in the courts of South Carolina.
We do not require mandatory arbitration. We believe in accessible resolution, not forced arbitration clauses that favor the company.
11 · Prohibited use
Don't do these things
Don't use the platform to commit fraud, impersonate someone, submit false information, attempt to claim gift cards you're not entitled to, or interfere with the platform's operation. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
